Pinay Symposium: “Superwomyn: Heroines of our generation”

Every girl has to go through several stereotypes for being a woman of color. Being submissive towards authority and not having a voice is a common stereotype in our society. There are women and organizations fighting to break this stereotype just by being themselves; we like to call them Superwomyn. Each woman has her own story as to how she has become who she is today. Superwomyn are equally successful in living their lives while pursuing their career, taking care of their family, and helping the community. The goal of the event is to show our community real life superwomyn and their accomplishments.
